Maple Valley Piano Lessons with a classical pianist, harpist and experienced teacher

I have been teaching and performing on piano and harp for over fifteen years now. I enjoy teaching and helping students reach their full music potential.  I have a B.A. and M.A. in music and belong to several music organizations to help enrich my student's musical education.  Classical piano and harp music is stressed, but I also have students work with other genres and styles to enhance their musical education. I offer National Federation of Music festival to my students as well as the opportunity to enroll in the Royal Academy testing to evaluate skills and give them a strong goal to work towards.  Students also have several other performance opportunities with two recitals and piano party workshops per year.  In the piano or harp lesson, all aspects of music are taught including sight-reading, theory, technique, ear-training, and learning to read music.

I also enjoy performing at weddings and events.  I typically play classical piano or harp music, but I can also tailor the music to suit the needs of any event.  Weddings in particular are my favorite.  I enjoy adding a touch of elegance to a wedding through my harp music.
